A study visit by students of Geography, University of Malaya was held to MaCGDI. The purpose of the visit was to expose the students to a variety of methods, techniques of data collection and analysis which are related to their study course. The visit aims to expose the students to the practical method of finding the data and data sources for their research and thesis. Briefing on MyGDI and the role MaCGDI relating to the development of national geospatial data infrastructure and data resources, procurement, standards and procedures for data application from students and researchers are also given by the MaCGDI officers involved i.e. Mrs. Raha binti Othman and Ms. Ili 'Aainaa Yaakop.
