Geoinformation for Executive (G4E)

Geoinformation for Executive (G4E) is a web based Decision Support System that has been exclusively developed for state government executive officers. It   will assist state government executive officers in policy making, planning, monitoring and enforcement of developments . Currently three (3) states has been involved in the development of G4E i.e Pahang, Kedah and Negeri Sembilan.

G4E  has been develop as an assistance tool to show how data derived from Malaysian Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MyGDI) can be consolidated, viewed, managed  and disseminated .This application’s objective is to provide high availability of maps in web based user interfaces, flexible and extensible to future growth and new requirements from targeted system users.

 The thematic data that are available in this application has been obtained from various data provider (custodian).

  Objective(s) Of G4E: 

 

  • To provide on-line access to geospatial data  for  Executive Officer at the State level.
  • To assist government executives in policy making, development planning, monitoring and to reinforce geoinformation usage.
  • To uphold the government effort to implement strategies towards stimulating The National Economic Growth.
  • To enhance the effectiveness of  government the delivery system.

G4E could only be accessed by Goverment executives officer in state who has valid user id and password.
