4th National GIS Conference & Exhibition 2010

		Introduction National GIS Conference and Exhibition *(NGIS)* is an event organized by the Malaysian Centre for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MaCGDI), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (NRE). The event is held every 2 years to promote GIS development in Malaysia. Theme "Mainstreaming GIS in Addressing National Challenges"







Objectives Become a platform of experience sharing and exchange information related to GIS. Create awareness on Geoinformation technology more effectively. Strengthening knowledge and encouraging the use of Geoinformation technology. To strengthen the effectiveness of the government delivery system.
Goals Strengthen the delivery system through the use of Geoinformation technology in the management of natural resources and environment for sustainable development.
Why Should Attend? Conference and exhibition provides a space for the best GIS community in Malaysia to obtain the latest knowledge and information related to the use, operation and maintenance of geospatial information. In addition, participants also have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences with experts in the GIS community and strengthen delivery of services respectively.
