How to Apply Data

Sharing of geospatial data for government users Government-to-Government (G2G) is free under the MyGDI programme. However, if you are interested to know more about the geospatial data you can access the MyGDI Metadata Catalogue or MyGDI Explorer. These are the procedures involved in obtaining the geospatial information for government users under the MyGDI programme.

G2G Data Application Procedure
 
Application of geospatial data in MaCGDI shall be made by head of department via an official letter addressed to:

Application for Government Agencies
 
a. Unrestricted Data
  1. Request letter addressed to the Director, stating the purpose of data applications.
  2. Fill in Annex III of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 (if the requested data will be given to the contractor / vendor)
  3. Fill in Annex IV of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 for students.
 
b. Restricted Data
  1. Request letter addressed to the Director, stating the purpose of data applications.
  2. Fill in 2 copies of Copyright License Application / Purchasing of Classified Geospatial Documents PPNM - 1 (Rev. 1 / 2008)
  3. A copy of the applicant Identification Card
  4. A copy of Identification Card  of the representative who will be assign to collect the map.
  5. Fill in Annex III of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 (if the requested data will be given to the contractor / vendor)
  6. Fill in Annex IV of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 for students.
 
 
c. Data JUPEM
  1. Request letter addressed to the Director, stating the purpose of data applications.
  2. A copy of the Copyright license of Surveying and Mapping Digital Data
  3. Fill in Annex III of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 (if the requested data will be given to the contractor / vendor)
  4. Fill in Annex IV of the Security Instructions Circular of Classified Geospatial Document 2007 for students.
