MyGDI Data Services

MyGDI Data Services is a web-based application developed for geospatial data sharing between government agencies. This application is specifically for the use of government officials to access shared data between government agencies with government agencies (G2G). Shared data will be published as a secure map service and are included in this application. Fundamental data contained in this application is from NGDC project which is collected, processed and connected (seamless) for Peninsular Malaysia. Fundamental data is divided into 12 data categories, namely Aeronautical, Built Environment, Demarcation, Geology, Hydrography, hypsography, Soil, Transportation, Utility, Vegetation, Special and General Use. The fundamental datasets are the important elements that can be used as the basis for development of other geospatial data.

In addition, the available map service in this application can be displayed in a various platforms such as ArcGIS JavaScript, ArcGIS.com Map, Google Earth, ArcMap and ArcGIS Explorer. Thus, government agencies can use the map service published by MaCGDI in applications or their desktop. This application eases online data sharing between government agencies. Government agencies can share their map service (if have) to be displayed in this application, so that their map service can be used/viewed by other government agencies. This application can save more time and cost in handling agencies's geospatial information.

Only officers from government agencies who have registered through LDAP MaCGDI User Registration Form can access and view shared data in this application.
