Malaysian Centre for Geospatial Data Infrastructure (MaCGDI) is working together with leading geospatial solutions provider Esri Malaysia to conduct the 2017 GIS in Local Government Benchmark Study. The study aims to give a compelling industry outlook on the rate of spatial technology adoption in local governments - shedding light on the current trends, challenges, and opportunities experienced by our local city managers.


The results of this benchmark study is expected to give industry stakeholders from the government, academe, and the private sector with greater clarity on the state of geospatial awareness and use in local governments.As a local government decision-maker yourself, I would like to invite you to share your views by completing our survey.
