  • No. The UPI application is open to the public.
  • Yes. UPI application can be accessed via:: https://mygos.mygeoportal.gov.my/upi/. Users can download the list of land administration code and domain names in pdf and excel format through the download functionality provided in the application. Data sharing in spatial format is also available through formal application to PGN. 
  • No. The UPI application only displays the code structure and boundary names of the land administration such as State, District, District / City / Town and Section. Information about the location of lot numbers is not displayed in this application.
  • Yes. The jawi spelling image in the MyGeoName application has been reviewed and verified by the Munsyi Dewan (Jawi), an individual who has been commissioned by the Language and Literature Council (DBP) to carry out the jawi spelling transliteration work. Pronunciation audio of geographical names in Official Malay and Local Dialects has been verified by linguists who have been appointed by PGN and approved by DBP.

  • The MS1759 application can be accessed via: http://ms1759.mygeoportal.gov.my/ms1759v3/index.php Alternatively, users can also purchase the Malaysian Standard MS1759: 2015, Geographic Information/ Geomatics - Feature and Attribute Codes document through the Department of Standard Malaysia.
  • Government agencies can obtain a soft copy of the guidelines downloaded via MyGeoportal or email to the Policy and Outreach Section webmastermacgdi@kats.gov.my for hard copies based on the remaining stock.

MyGeoMap is an application that provides geospatial information from Government and private agencies to the public. It is a one stop center for public users to search various information and locations related to Government premises. The application also provides a crowdsource function that allows public users to share information about floods, clinics and restaurants. In addition, there is also a navigation function that provides route information from one location to another. MyGeoMap is available and accessible at any time through web and mobile applications.

  • FGD data is accessible to registered users under the MyGDI program through the MyGDI Data Services application. Currently, FGD data sharing is only available to government agencies.
  • Geospatial data applications must be submitted by the Head of Department through an official letter. Refer to this link for more information.

Procedures to apply Industry Training in PGN;

 

    • Make an application to undergo the said industrial training through the Dean of Faculty, Public Institutions of Higher Education/Private Institutions of Higher Education
    • Attach a copy of Resume; and
