The Multi-Lingual Glossary of Terms is a compilation of geographic and geomatics terminology used in the ISO/TC 211 Multi-Lingual Glossary of Terms document, which has been translated from English into Bahasa Malaysia.

A dedicated Working Group for the Multi-Lingual Glossary of Terms standard was established, comprising representatives from various government agencies and academic institutions, including Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), the Malaysian Space Agency (MYSA), the Department of Survey and Mapping Malaysia (JUPEM), the Department of Agriculture (DOA), the Minerals and Geoscience Department Malaysia (JMG), and the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), among others.

The translated terms will be published digitally in the Glossary and Definitions of Geographic Information System (GIS)/Geomatics Terms document, which will serve as a standard reference for relevant stakeholders
