Integrating non-spatial (textual) data at the agency with spatial data at National Geospatial Centre through the medium Application Programming Interface (API).

  • Allowing communication between two different application platforms.
  • Performing geocoding and reverse geocoding processes through the API using Google Maps Platform.
  • Viewing map display visually and make a geographic information system (GIS) analysis according to specific needs.

  • Saving resources, data processing time as well as increasing data sharing between government agencies
  • Save subscription costs by using the base map provided by PGN
  • Address the issue of the absence of spatial data for the use of location mapping for applications in the agency
  • Handling the issue of updating data manually and repeatedly on the system at the agency (non-spatial) and at PGN (spatial)
  • Facilitating the non-spatial database at the Agency to communicate with the spatial database at PGN through Application Programming Interface (API)
  • Encourage continuous data sharing between government agencies through a user-friendly and secure medium
  • User Management - manage user accounts such as registration, access permissions (access level), deactivation and information updates
  • Upload - uploading non-spatial data (textual) and downloading as spatial data through geocoding and or reverse geocoding process
  • Address Coordinate - get address information such as state, district, city and zip code as well as coordinates (decimal and DMS) and display it on the map
  • Request Attribute - requests for additional data attributes based on user/ agency requirements
  • API Dashboard - displays the API response status for inserts, updates and deletes
  • Setting - system settings such as configuration of email, security, Google Maps API Key, attributes, file templates and so on by the system administrator
